HI Unc, this is very interesting and has come up for me in a few ways recently. Most recently, Esther Neima asked me if she can buy a coworker nonkosher food as a present, I said i think if not basar vchalav prob not a problem, but that there is an issur to give them a gift...You didn't delve too far into this but before I knew you did chabura on this is sent her to Shua as I usually do.
