Toraso 2.9 - Yonah Brown - Charoses

Torah is not time bound - you read it correctly - Charoses, the stuff we eat (or do we) on Pesach at (not by - Ma) the seder. Thank you Yonah for this Chabura about Charoses. As many of you spent hours learning this over Yom Tov - I am sure that you will enjoy and likely have what to comment. Please do.

I listed to the chabura a while ago but forgot to post this...sorry for delay!

Beautiful Yon, I am no expert, but I agree that would be weird if the Rambam is switching on both points and therefore he has to to disagree but weird that misunderstood and I like your pshat.

BTW if you have caption on while watching its actually pretty funny 😉

Possibly that is partially why he assumed that the nusach Habracha would be such. What cannot possibly imagine that the brachas is Charoses alone, like my brother, Yonah Shalom, asked -there is not achilas Charoses. Perfect…

Wow! Yonah, I really like your chabura and how clear you put together our bein hazmanim sugya! Thank you for taking the time!

I had a few thoughts I wanted to share!

If I may,

1) if my memory serves me correctly, you after explaining the the netziv you said "and that's why the rambam makes no mention of mitzva cuz you don't make a mitzva on charoses." Although it was funny how serious you were when you said it, can we assume you meant bracha? That he doesn't mention that you make a bracha just that it's a mitzva that doesn't require a bracha. Is that correct?

2) When I was in your brain and you were preparing the…
