Loved it Sruli! It was clear, practical, and taught me som new. Even though you just briefly mentioned it I really liked the observation about how even though you were wrong when you judged a Tzadik who was doing something wrong lekaf Zchus you fulfilled the Mitzvah by doing so. I also loved the inclusion of Uncle Chaim’s powerful story!
Love the format Swerls and the appearance of uncle Chaim and Vladamir, that was a pleasant surprise! Do we assume chaverca means people that we know? Is that consistent with that lashon in other places in Shas? I get why you found it interesting that for the beinoni in a doubtful situation where it turns out that the benoni really had done something wrong, your having be dan lckaf zxechus was a mitzvah...what is you didn't dan lichaf zechuis and he had done something wrong os you are right and he was in fact wrong...but you should've been dan lchaf zechus...is that an aveira then? what do you feel about that... Thank you so much for this fascinating presentation. I enjoyed to content and the format (thanks for the pic of Putin). I was very impressed with how clearly you got the info, I knonw that it is very nuanced.
A few points:
Firstly, as I mentioned in the email, it is really nice to hear this right before Yom Kippur. I actually read a story the other day in a sefer call Teshuva, about the Chofetz Chaim. It is being told over by a rabbi Kluft that had been in Radin with the CC on a Yom Kippur and the CC was speaking about the pasuk we say in Kol Nidrei ונסלח לכל עדת בני ישראל ולגר הגם בתוכם…
